Effective Tips for Fast Weight Loss

The first thing to remember when you want to lose weight in a hurry is that it is not safe to lose too much weight too fast. In fact weight loss should happen gradually. This would also result in a stronger immune system and great skin. Rich protein diets are a great fat burning mechanism which helps in initiating weight loss and building muscles.  Finally avoid salty food when trying to lose weight as salt forces the body to retain water which results in bloating.

Drink Lots:
It is very important to drink a substantial number of glasses of water to keep the nutrients in balance. Water acts like a solvent for many necessary minerals and vitamins and also helps in flushing out waste and toxins from the body. As a rule, one should lose half an ounce of water for every pound of the body weight daily. Drinking unflavoured and plain filtered water will also keep the body hydrated. Finally drinking milk also plays an important role in weight loss as it lowers the overall calories count in the body.

Eating healthy involves watching the foods that you eat, not necessarily how much food you eat.  Of course, you may want to restrict the amount of foods that you eat, when on a diet, but it is more important to focus on the foods that you do eat.  For instance, if you were to eat fruit instead of chips, you could have more fruit snacks with your meals than you would be able to if you were just to eat junk food.

Since eating healthy is an important component of losing weight, you may be wondering how you can go about doing so.  One of the first things that you should do is find and familiarize yourself with healthy meals. You can do this by way of standard internet search or by buying a collection of healthy eating recipe books.  To reduce the boredom often associated with healthy eating, especially if you are not use to it, it is important that you “spice,” up your foods and try to not eat the same meals over and over again each week.

In connection with healthy eating, regular exercise is also important to weight loss.  If you are looking to lose weight, you should start an exercise plan for yourself.  Exercise is important as it burns off calories.  When you burn calories, the amount of calories that your body absorbs decreases. This is, essentially, what makes it possible for you to lose weight.  If you haven’t been exercising regularly in the past, it is important that you take it slow. Exercise is a great way to lose weight, but you do not want to overdo it, especially at first.

If you don’t currently have an exercise plan or program in place, you may be wondering more about what you can do.  One of the many ways that you can go about finding exercises or workouts to do is by buying a collection of fitness magazines. Many fitness magazines have detailed exercises outlined in them, often accompanied by pictures.  You may also be able to find free instructional workout videos or exercise moves online.  As a reminder, it is important to start out slow or at least start with exercises that would be easy for you to.

Eating healthy and regular exercise are both important components of losing weight, but there are additional tips that you can use to help you lose weight.  One of those tips involves finding a workout partner or a workout buddy. This is a person who can exercise with you, whether your exercise involves visiting a local gym or just going for a walk at a local shopping center.  Having a workout partner may help to keep you motivated and it may help to keep exercising and losing weight fun and exciting for you.

Another way that you can go about successfully achieving your weight loss goal is by “spicing,” up your exercises. As previously mentioned, you can use the internet or fitness magazines to find workouts for you to do at home.  To help reduce the boredom often associated with exercising you will want to change up your exercises, often on a daily basis. For instance, one day you may want to use a treadmill, the next day you may want to lift weights, and the next day you may want to do an exercise DVD, and so forth.

You should also consider making exercise and healthy eating logs or journals for yourself. These items can be used to track your progress. If you have a good week, like one where you completed all of your exercises, you may want to think about rewarding yourself.  Your reward doesn’t have to include food; it can be something as simple as a sticker or treating yourself to a movie.  Journals and logs have been known to help many individuals looking to lose weight and it may be able to do the same for you.

Question by Hoping he will bless me with #1: When is the best time to weight yourself — before or after exercising?
What are the pros and cons of either? I eat breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, mid-afternoon snack and after I eat my mid-afternoon snack it’s usually an hour or so before I head to the gym. I notice I weight more when I weigh myself after eating vs. when I am done working out.

There is no best time to weigh yourself.
If you want to accurately compare your weight from day to day weigh yourself the same time of the day with the same amount of clothes on. You’re weight can fluctuate a few lbs during the day

How to Lose Weight by Fasting












One simple way to lose weight fast is to stop eating throughout the day. This can seem to be very easy and a way to lose weight without much work at all. However, fasting doesn’t only have benefits but can also cause a problem to your health if it isn’t taken control of carefully. Like the other actions you undertake while on a diet, fasting can also be a form of dieting. Fasting can help you dramatically reduce weight very quickly but might be a problem if your suffering from a few health problems like Diabetes.

It is your choice to decide how many fasts you want to keep and how much food will be on your table. You can fast for long hours with water, fruits and low calorie meals or choose to fast a full day without anything. But I assure you that living your daily life like this will be very hard and could do more harm to your health than good.

Your Body needs Nutrients!

One of the problems that a person faces when fasting for long periods is that the body doesn’t receive the right amount of vital nutrients that the body requires. This could harm a person’s health.

• Hypokalemia

• Cardiac Arrhythmia

Another problem is that once you return to your normal eating habits, you may likely gain back all the weight that you lost. Not only this, but after a hard fasting day, your stomach will definitely tease you into having a massive meal which could potentially dump extra calories in your body.

Everything needs a rest once in a while. This also applies to the organs of your body which work every day to digest all the food that passes by on a regular basis. Fasting allows your body organs to rest for a good few hours and remove those harmful toxins while reducing weight in a healthy way.

How to Fast properly!

A fast without food and drink for a full day from sunrise to sunset can be a challenge particularly if you’re planning to fast in the summer. There are three important stages during fasting. One is the preparation, second is the actual fast and third is breaking the fast. Let us have a read of them below.

• Preparing the fast

Usually, the first fast is exceptionally hard than all the others. You need to be both mentally and physically prepared to survive the first day of the fast. It is important that you fully determine yourself to the fast and that nothing will overcome you to eat and forget the promise you made to yourself. Your mind may get filled with several excuses to why you should eat but remember the sole purpose of why you’re doing the task is to lose weight quickly.

The day before your fast arrives, make sure you eat a normal amount of food and water. Without many liquids, your fast can go out of control and will cause you to de-hydrate. This is why you should drink more than your usual daily sip.

• The fast

Throughout the fasting period, work upon light-weighted tasks that will not end up causing fatigue, hunger and thirst. Concentrate on body healing programs and anything else that you wouldn’t have the time to accomplish on your normal day. Don’t pressure your mind into thinking of food or even watch cooking programs on television to waste the time because this only adds motivation to break your fast. Stay strong and endure the pressure.

• Breaking the fast

One important factor that you need to remember is that a hard fast will be worthless if you choose to eat up all the calories that you lost throughout the whole day. When breaking your fast, eat a few low calorie meals at most and a few drinks. Beware that you do not overeat and gain more weight than you had earlier!

Question by Hanna A: Is it best to take weight loss pills before or after a workout?
I have been taking weight loss pills and usually I take them when I wake up and after dinner. I forgot to take the morning one and I just had a workout so im wondering if I would get better results if I take it before or after a workout.
